Thank you for your interest in the Wisconsin Program for Training Regionally Employed Care Providers (WisTREC), the Wisconsin partner of the Partnership for Training Initiative funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation from 1994-2003.

The funding period for this exciting initiative has ended and WisTREC no longer recruits students for certified nurse-midwifery, nurse practitioner or physician assistant programs.

Although it is not possible to enroll as a WisTREC student, all of our academic partners continue to offer distance options and you can contact them directly .

If you are interested in the history and accomplishments of this important project, you can access the final report at www.pftweb.org

This is an exciting time to be a health care provider and we wish you success as you pursue this important goal!
