Reminder: Dr Lorraine Venturato Visiting Scholar January 16-February 10

Dr Lorraine Venturato is a Research Fellow in a joint appointment between Griffith University and RSL Care (Qld). She has extensive experience as a clinician, educator and researcher in residential aged care and specific expertise in health services management and aged care policy.

Dr Venturato’s current research is focused on service development and the development and testing of models of care and staffing frameworks for the aged care industry, including workforce development and professional practice models. She is also engaged in translational research through action research and practice development in aged care. Her clinical research focuses on quality of life and models of care for people living with dementia.

Dr. Venturato will be a visiting scholar mid-January through mid-February. Articles have been posted on the bulletin board across from H6/251 or are available electronically (contact Luann at for copies).
