Carolyn AradineUW-MadisonPhone: (608) 263-5268 Carolyn Aradine is an Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Aradine received her baccalaureate degree from the University of Rochester (Rochester, NY), her master's degree at UW-Madison, and her PhD at the University of Michigan. Her postdoctoral work was done at the University of California in San Franciso (UCSF). After receiving her master's degree in pediatric nursing, she worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in pediatric and family health clinics at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. Her doctoral preparation included participation in infant mental health research with Selma Fraiberg. She has been teaching at UW-Madison since 1988. Her areas of interest are in promoting health care and parenting of infants and young children and in the nursing care of children with chronic health conditions. Dr. Aradine teaches in the pediatric nurse practitioner master's program and in the baccalaureate Collaborative Nursing Program. She is currently teaching the course in school nursing (Primary Health Care in the School Setting) in the CNP. She enjoys working with students who constantly expand her knowledge about school nursing. |
